Project Baby Bird Tote Instructions

Finally Project Baby Bird tote instructions.  Thank you for your patience.  Please click on to the picture and then you should be able to print in full size.  I am currently trying to figure out how to make it available in my side bar so that it can stay there permanently.  If anyone knows how to advise me in this your help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you so much for your interest in Project Baby Bird and your patience while we get everything set up for this worthy endeavor!

Project Baby Bird on Hold?

The answer to that question would be no...and I want to apologize for not posting sooner...things spun out of control for a little while, as my big sister put it today, and she was right...dystonia's been kicking my bottom end.  However thanks to an awesome team, Project Baby Bird is going full steam ahead.

Project Baby Bird was invited by a wonderful woman named Joann to set up at the 'Grange Spring Market' last Friday and Saturday.  Donation bins have been set up at the best little coffee shop in Sonoma called 'Barking Dog Roasters' (you'll find the button in the sidebar) and last but certainly not least, the local toy shop in Sonoma has donated bags and bags of stuffies and comforts to fill the tote bags for the babies.  Thank you Karla, your kindness made me cry.  I will be posting more about Karla and her wonderful toy shop in the next few days.  So there you have it, just a quick update, I hope you are still considering and will participate in Project Baby Bird.  I will try to have the patterns posted as well in the next few days along with more progress updates.  Until then, I hope you are blessed and well.
P.S.  For those who have tried to post comments but couldn't, I may have fixed the problem...so please do try again, Project Baby Bird would love to hear from you.

Project Baby Bird Focus Japan

Welcome to Project Baby Bird....
Our goal is to fill tote bags with stuffies, blankets, hats, socks, scarves, a note of hope or encouragement, food, etc...anything that will bring comfort to a child in crisis.  Our goal is to reach out to children from zero to eighteen that have been affected by devastating circumstances.

Our current focus is Japan.
The first 50 tote bags are in the works.  The biggest challenge ahead of us will be to get the totes to Japan and into the arms of children as immediately as we can.
We are trusting that God will sort these details out.

It's amazing how time consuming mass production of these totes and stuffies are, which is why we are asking for volunteers willing to help us put these together.  Hopefully tomorrow we will have the patterns posted for anyone who would like to help us with these.

If you are interested please leave us a comment with your email so that we can contact you.  Even if you can only put together one or two, there is no small act.  The child that receives your tote will receive immeasurable comfort from your act of kindness.

Each tote has a pocket with a baby bird on the front of it.  We are hoping these pockets will contain notes of hope and encouragement... possibly from you?

Inside each tote will be a stuffie, a warm blanket perhaps and other donations necessary for survival.  The first donations have already came in and we are hoping to send our first totes out to Japan within the next few days.

Thanks for visiting, have a blessed day and we hope that you will consider helping Project Baby Bird....
